Welcome to Rx Jot.

By accessing and using the services provided by Rx Jot ("Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). Please review these Terms carefully, especially as they relate to your rights and liabilities under the law.
1. Use of Service
Rx Jot is an large language model (LLM) powered service designed to assist users in medical tasks, such as generating medical insurance documentation and suggestions of medical interventions. The Service is intended for use by licensed medical professionals ("Users").
2. Account Registration and Use
a. Account Creation: each user must register an unique account by providing accurate and complete information. It is your responsibility to update any changes to that information promptly. b. One Person Per Account: Each account is personal and cannot be shared with or transferred to any other person. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password and your data. c. Account Responsibilities: You agree to notify Rx Jot immediately of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security. Rx Jot will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge.
3. Waiver of Liability
a. Accuracy of Output: while Rx Jot uses advanced technology to generate documentation, the accuracy of the Service's outputs is not guaranteed. The Service should be used as a tool to assist but not replace your professional judgment. You are strongly advised to thoroughly review all documentation generated by the Service for accuracy and completeness before submitting it to third parties such as insurance or making clinical decisions based on this information. b. User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and applicability of all output generated by the Service before it is used or submitted. Rx Jot disclaims all liability for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the generated documentation. c. Limitation of Liability: In no event will Rx Jot, its affiliates, agents, directors, employees, suppliers, or licensors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
4. User Obligations
a. Compliance with Laws: You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to those related to data protection and privacy, medical recordkeeping, and the transmission of electronic health records. b. Protected Health Information (PHI): If you input, upload, or otherwise provide PHI to the Service, you must first ensure that a valid Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is in place between your entity and Rx Jot. This agreement is necessary to comply with HIPAA regulations or equivalent legislation in your jurisdiction regarding the handling, transmission, and processing of PHI. You are responsible for maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including implementing appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy and security of PHI. c. Prohibited Use: You are prohibited from using the Service to create, transmit, or store documentation that is fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful. You must ensure that all PHI is handled in a secure and lawful manner, and you may not use the Service to infringe upon the privacy rights of any individual. d. Access and Authorization: Access to and use of Rx Jot applications, including any of its backend services such as servers, databases, and other infrastructure, is strictly limited to users who have a valid account and a valid and active subscription or who are participating in an authorized free trial offered by Rx Jot. Unauthorized access, use, probing, or connection to the Service or its backend services, outside of these authorized channels, is prohibited and may result in legal action and immediate termination of your account. You must not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service or the servers and networks which host the Service. Users are required to ensure that all access to the Service during the free trial period complies with these Terms of Service.
5. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in and to the Service are owned by or licensed to Rx Jot. You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the software, unless laws prohibit these restrictions.
6. Termination
Service reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
7. Changes to Terms
Rx Jot reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. You are advised to review the Terms periodically for any changes. Changes to the Terms are effective when they are posted on this page.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rx Jot is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
